All our bags and pouches are proudly made and hand silk screened local to us in Brooklyn, NY. Our note cards are made in the USA . We keep all our manufacturing in the USA.
How do I buy a Maptote product?
You can buy direct from us here on our website – www.maptote.com - or contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for a store near you.
How do I care for my bag?
As our bags are 100% cotton, some shrinkage may occur once washed. We recommend cold wash and line dry for all our cotton items.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do ship internationally via USPS Priority Mail. Orders sent via USPS Priority shipping arrive in about 15 business days. However delays can occur in transit or holds at the local customs office, so it's possible to take up to 5 weeks for an order to be delivered. Unfortunately, tracking information isn't available for all international orders.
Customs and additional fees may apply for international shipments. Maptote is not responsible for any fees. Contact your local customs office for more information.
When should I expect my order?
All of our standard orders are shipped via USPS First Class or Priority Mail from Brooklyn, NY. You can choose First Class mail if your shipment weighs 13 oz or less. Please note First Class mail can take up to 8 - 10 days and Priority Mail takes 1 - 3 days however these times do vary and are not guaranteed. We will do everything we can to ensure your package is delivered in a timely manner but Maptote is not responsible for any delays in shipping once an order leaves our office.
Orders usually go out in less than a week. If, for some reason, anything is out of stock then we will notify you and let you know the expected delivery date.
We also offer expedited shipping options via UPS which include next day, 2-day, and 3-day services. The prices of these will be determined by the weight and destination of your order. All orders must be made prior to 3 pm est to be shipped that day, if they are made after 3 pm est they will be shipped on the next business day. Please keep in mind when choosing shipping options that only business days are counted, not weekends or holidays.
Orders usually go out in less than a week. If for some reason we are out of stock on your purchase, we will notify you and let you know the expected delivery.
Can I ship to a military (APO or other) address?
Of course. Enter the address in this format:

What is your return policy?
As a small (but growing!) company we unfortunately do not accept returns or exchanges. That said, if for some reason a product we send to you is damaged please let us know and we will send a replacement with a posted envelope to return the damaged item. We must be notified within 30 days of delivery of the the damage.

Custom Orders & Wholesale
Do you make custom maps for special events, such as weddings? Or can you customize your totes for my business?
Please e-mail us at email@example.com with your specific request. As we design all our maps and graphics, we can create new locations as per your request. With that in mind, custom orders must be ordered in bulk. Also, please keep in mind, the more you purchase the better we can do with pricing!
