After a trip to Europe, Rachel Rheingold (a fashion stylist) and Michael Berick (a cartographer) wanted to create something they could do together. Combining their love and passion for travel, maps, and design – MAPTOTE was born. The simple cotton totes are silkscreened with fun schematic maps of various cities featuring their neighborhoods, city icons, and landmarks. The bags are something a visitor or a local can appreciate and enjoy. Great for many purposes, the bags have a variety of uses from carrying groceries to a cute gift to everyday use. And of course it is an easy way to be green!
